Specialty Coffee Drinks

Below are the basic espresso and specialty coffee drinks that you will find on our menu.

Americano: A shot of espresso blended with hot water to make a full cup of flavorful coffee.

Breve: A shot of espresso blended with steamed half & half for a rich and creamy espresso drink.

Cafe au Lait: Coffee, French style, made with equal parts dark roast coffee and steamed milk.

Cappuccino: An espresso drink made with equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and foam. If you order it dry you are skipping the steamed milk and doubling up on the foam.

Espresso: Order it as a single, a double, even a triple or a quad! Espresso is made by forcing hot water under high pressure through finely ground dark-roasted coffee beans.

Espresso con Panna: A shot of espresso topped with whipped cream.

Latte: Espresso with steamed milk, topped with a dallop of foam. Lattes are especially delicious when you add a flavor!

Mocha: A latte made with rich, creamy chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream. It can also be made with white chocolate, as well.

Red Eye: Your choice of coffee with a shot of espresso in it. Or if you really need a kick, order the Black Eye - it comes with a double shot.

All of our specialty coffee drinks are made with 2% milk. Whole milk, skim milk and soy milk are all available by request.

The fun really begins when you start mixing things up with flavored syrups and sauces. Here is just a sample of the sort of drinks that will be available at Barking Dog Coffee:

Mocha Fudge Espresso Truffle: Espresso and chocolate blended with whipped cream to form a thick, creamy coffee drink that is then topped with whipped cream. Also available with caramel or white chocolate.

Caramelo Latte: A latte made with creamy caramel sauce and a shot of vanilla syrup.

Pralines & Cream Breve: A shot of espresso flavored with hazelnut and almond syrups and blended with thick and creamy steamed half & half for a decadent treat.

Almond Joy Mocha: A mocha made with shots of coconut and almond syrups. Yum!

Rocky Road Mocha: Hazelnut blends with chocolate syrup in this delicious espresso drink!

Iced Coffee: Our full menu of brewed and specialty coffees can be poured over ice for a cool coffee beverage.

Espresso Freeze: Any of our specialty espresso drinks can be whipped with ice in the blender to make a delicious frozen drink.
